Domaine de Belfort is a family vineyard located in the village of Belfort du Quercy, 80 km north of Toulouse, south of Cahors in the South West of France. The vineyard was completely replanted in 2005, along with a new state-of-the-art winery, built using the effect of gravity for the gentle care of the grape. The vineyard’s organic white wine is produced in very limited quantity. It is a delightful balance of a fruity and rich Chardonnay freshened by the acidity of Sauvignon Blanc. The long finish from the Semillon also expresses a touch of the limestone terroir’s minerality. Perfect for an aperitif and with fish and spicy dishes.
