Seana McCutcheon

Seana McCutcheon Stewardess

Seana was born in Dooralong, NSW, Australia. After completing high school she commenced a two-year advanced diploma course in hospitality management whilst at the same time working at Dooralong Valley Resort, a prestigious hotel complex. During her studies and employment, she was crossed trained in all departments and promoted to personal assistant to the general manager. During this period she also played division one netball for her district, coached a teenage netball team and was the youngest captain for Shelly Beach Volunteer Surf Life Saving Australia.

After completing her course, in which she was placed third and received a distinction average, she commenced a business degree course majoring in marketing and e-business.  Seana yearned to travel and so decided to take her studies overseas, relocating to London where she worked in human resources, interrupted by a stay in South Carolina, USA where she studied in Clemson University.

Learning of the yachting industry through a friend, Seana realised that she would prefer the Mediterranean location and climate and the hospitality industry to her current HR position. Consequently she embarked upon a yachting career, starting as a day worker on a variety of boats ranging from seventeen to ninety-six metres.  Seana gained her first permanent crew position on the ninety-six metre M/Y Indian Empress, where she worked on the Grand Prix opening party for seven hundred and fifty guests. Following this, Seana returned to travelling, this time visiting Scotland, Germany, The Netherlands, Czech Republic and Hungary. In November 2009 she joined the fifty metre M/Y TJ Esperanza, where she spent the winter season working onboard during weekdays whilst snowboarding in the Andorra and French Alps at the weekends.  In April 2010 Seana joined M/Y Salu as second stewardess.
